   Butterfly Pose (Baddha konasana ) is a gentle pose that allows for stretch of the groin and hamstrings. 
   
   The Pose helps loosen up your low back, hips and inner thighs, which may ease discomfort and can help you feel better overall.
   
   It has a calming, relaxing effect, which may help you manage and let go of stress.
  
   The Butterfly Pose works your abs, shoulders, back muscles, hips and glutes. It is ideal if strength-building is what you're after.
   
   From a seated position, bring the soles of your feet together, a comfortable distance away from your pelvis.
  While keeping your back straight, allow your knees to fall towards the ground.
  
    Hold the stretch for 30 to 60 seconds.
