The Four-limbed staff pose (chaturanga dandasana), is an advanced level yoga pose that is focused on improving the upper body strength as well as core stability. It is also called the four-limbed staff pose.
Chaturanga dandasana is a move that combines the benefits of a low plank and a push-up, and can often be tricky to master. It has many benefits, most important being adding strength, making the core stable and improving flexibility.
Four-limbed staff pose is especially useful in strengthening the wrists, arms and shoulders.
Start with a shorter time frame and gradually increase it. You can hold this pose for 10 seconds at first, and then do it for a while each time depending on your comfort.
